About me
I'm a product designer and engineer with more than fifteen years of shipping human-centered, accessible software. I care about work that holds up in production—design systems, complex product surfaces, and the craft of how design and engineering teams actually work together.
I started in traditional software development, but I kept getting pulled toward the edge where code meets interaction, narrative, and clarity. That hybrid lens is still how I operate: I prototype in real stacks, translate constraints for both sides of the house, and push for experiences that survive real users, accessibility requirements, and the messy middle of delivery.
Lately I've spent a lot of time on scalable design systems and on folding AI into UX workflows in ways that speed teams up instead of adding noise. I've also partnered with large product orgs to tighten design practice—fewer one-off patterns, clearer standards, and interfaces people can rely on day to day.

Testimonials
I've worked with many product people in my career, but what stands out about Jon is his attitude of deep personal accountability to users, and his dedication to building things of quality. Jon also holds others to these high standards; leading to some truly impressive outcomes.
Jon was always a great pleasure to work with. He approaches every problem with interest and enthusiasm, and an impressive roster of advanced skills. He is extremely flexible and willing to learn new skills, and has a wonderful design sense.
I spent years building a solid team of design generalists. Through the process I learned how rare it is to find someone who can truly do it all. Jon is one of the few. He has an intuitive sense of usability and aesthetics, the technical skill to realize his designs, and the tools to test and iterate. Crucially, all of this comes with no ego and with a drive to learn and improve.
Jon is a great communicator. He leads by listening and teasing out underlying UX issues. In a recent engagement, Jon guided our team through a very productive design cycle. We produced a working prototype and simplified our design processes.
