Every feature was designed twice: once in Figma, then again in code. Specs drifted as engineers re-interpreted spacing, color, and states, and each team re-solved the same patterns. Rework was the tax on every release.

I built the system as production code, not documentation about code: design tokens, accessible React components, and usage patterns co-owned with engineering. Designs reference the same components engineers ship, so a spec is a contract instead of a suggestion. Four legacy component libraries rolled into one shared React and Figma architecture, with Storybook as the engineering source of truth.

Cut design-to-dev rework by 50% and gave feature teams a shared vocabulary. New surfaces compose from existing parts instead of starting from a blank canvas. The system now underpins AI, outreach, privacy, and core application surfaces across the platform.
