Direct Capital (later part of CIT) helped tens of thousands of small businesses finance equipment and growth. The public site had to do two jobs at once: explain a complex category clearly, and get a qualified applicant to start an application without friction.

I led the marketing site redesign and production build—information architecture and templates for long-form content, refreshed navigation and trust blocks, and a tighter navy / white / orange system that carried from the hero through financing lanes, testimonials, and footer. Most of the UI was shipped as semantic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with an eye toward performance and maintainability on a content-heavy homepage.

The centerpiece was the Quick Quote module in the hero: loan amount, purpose, and a live estimated payment so visitors could orient to monthly cost before committing to apply. The interactive demo at the top of this page is a faithful front-end recreation of that pattern—the same layout, controls, and quote logic visitors saw on the live site.
